Jewson to supply Wirral homes

Social landlord Wirral Partnership Homes has appointed builders merchant Jewson, as a preferred supply-chain partners.

The contract is worth around £900,000 and will mean that Jewson will provide building materials and a tailored service to Wirral Partnership Homes’ 12,400 properties over the next four years.

Brian Rooney, stores & procurement manager at Wirral Partnership Homes said the partnership is delighted to be working with Jewson.

“Taking advantage of their tailored counter and delivery services we look forward to improving the quality of our reactive repair service and are expecting to benefit from significant cost reductions,” he said.

Stuart Reed, sales manager at Jewson said: “We have worked closely with WPH to devise a bespoke solution, which meets the registered social landlord’s exacting needs and we look forward to providing this level of service in the future to implement any on-going improvements required.”
