Jewson supplies flooring for Persimmon sites

Jewson will provide the materials for 390 developments across the UK, and with an network of 600 branches, Persimmon believe the partnership will reduce carbon emissions with only the closest branch being used for the necessary delivery.

Ian Hardy, group buying co-ordinator at Persimmon, said: “We’ve always had a very good level of service and support from Jewson.

“In addition, we have over 24 operating regions around the UK, so Jewson’s national network is incredibly important. The closest Jewson branch holds the packs of chipboard in stock, which are delivered out to the live sites only as and when required. This ensures build-times are kept on track and crucially – helps to cut carbon emissions to site.”
