IRWIN Tools launches tradesman support campaign

IRWIN Tools, manufacturer of hand tools and power tool accessories, has launched a campaign to ‘Show Some Love For Our Tradesmen’.

The UK campaign has a dedicated website at and there will be more than 50 events all over the UK throughout the year, culminating in a global ‘National Tradesmen Day’ on September 21 that will officially salute professional tradesmen.

Throughout the campaign IRWIN will be inviting trade professionals to visit them at trade shows, retailer and merchant branches to pick up giveaways such as t-shirts, tools, tradesmen packs and food!

The strapline of ‘Show Some Love For Our Tradesmen’ will be at the heart of the campaign which will also see businesses all over the UK partnering up with IRWIN to offer special benefits to tradesmen, from a free cup of tea or bacon sandwich to business support and advice.

Backed by a full media advertising campaign that will feature the winners from IRWIN’s previous Ultimate Tradesmen Challenge competitions as the ‘faces’ of the campaign, national media advertorials will also run in the build-up to National Tradesmen Day.
