The state-of-the-art vehicles boast an innovative traffic management system that includes vehicle tracking and automatic alerts to customers. The vehicles also allow multiple products to be transported at one time, making distribution more economically efficient.

As part of the recent partnership, Canute Logistics has contributed a significant investment into improving customer service levels by offering its drivers comprehensive training programmes.

Matt Addison, operations director at International Timber, said: “This partnership will enable us to offer a first-class service to all of our customers and shows our commitment to becoming the national reference point for timber.”

David Emslie at Canute Logistics, said: “We are delighted to be the sole hauliers for International Timber following a thorough tender process. The partnership enables us to create an innovative solution containing dedicated and general haulage service.”
