International Timber appoints sales director to service South East

Supplier and distributor of timber and panel products, International Timber, has appointed Mathew Lewis as regional sales director for the South East of England.

Lewis, who has over 28 years of experience in the timber importing industry, joins the company from Alsford Timber where he spent five years as sales manager for the timber merchant.

In his new role, he will be responsible for building and overseeing the 12 strong sales team at the firm’s Purfleet site.

On his appointment, Lewis said: “I am thrilled to be joining International Timber’s South East sales team. To maintain International Timber’s quality offering, it is vital that we continue to build a strong team and sales structure. We are committed to giving our customers specialist advice and solutions to meet their needs.”

Tony Miles, managing director at International Timber, added: “We would like to welcome Mathew to International Timber. Mathew brings a wealth of knowledge and unrivalled experience of the industry. His appointment will help to boost both our regional and national offering to all of our customers across the UK.”
