Brant said: “It’s a tremendous honour to be elected Chair of the Construction Industry Council for the 2025–2027 term. As a Fellow of the CIOB, my career has been grounded in collaboration, professionalism and integrity across the built environment. The CIC brings together the collective voice of our diverse members at a time when our industry faces both great challenges and opportunity. I’m committed to driving progress through shared values, innovation and inclusion. I’m also passionate about improving mental health across the built environment sector — an issue that underpins the wellbeing, productivity and resilience of our workforce. I would like to thank Dr Wei Yang for her exceptional leadership and invite all CIC stakeholders to actively engage as we work together to shape a more sustainable and inspiring built environment for the generations to come.”
