Howarth staff appointed as IoBM governors

Howarth’s national sales manager Mark Terry and group buyer Duncan Barker have both joined the Board and their roles will involve helping to raise the profile of the institute across the industry, increasing membership and promoting training and continual development.

Terry and Barker will also work to promote and share best practice across the industry and to champion and promote professionalism.

Commenting on his new role, Terry said: “Joining the Board of Governors at the IoBM means a lot to both me and Duncan. Our appointments ensure that Howarth will have a voice on the Board and the opportunity to share best industry practice and influence the direction of the Institute.”

Howarth has an ongoing partnership with the IoBM and a team of employees recently showcased their skills at the institute’s Practical Skills Challenge Event, finishing in second place.
