Gledhill has added to its family of StainlessLite cylinders, the UK’s only domestic horizontal unvented cylinder.
Available in sizes from 180 litres to 300 litres in both indirect and indirect solar configurations, it has been independently approved by public health and safety organisation, NSF-WRc.
Suitable for locations where installation height is restricted, such as loft space, Gledhill’s horizontal stainless range is up to 50% lighter than other unvented stainless steel cylinders.
Gledhill’s managing director, Jason Hobson, said: “This range of horizontal stainless products has expanded our comprehensive unvented cylinder offering, which already includes units up to 400 litres and a full range of slimline models. Not only do they offer merchants additional sales opportunities for projects with limited space, but they also provide installers with an option to free up valuable living space by moving the cylinder into the loft.
“We know that there is strong demand for these products so we are delighted to be the first manufacturer to bring these approved models to market.”
