Garage door manufacturer sent three of its delivery vehicles to help a charity cycle ride.

The 18 tonne vehicles from the Garador fleet were used to deliver over 500 bikes to their riders so they could take part in a Coast to Coast charity bike ride.
It was all part of a major fund raising activity for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
“Ensuring all the cyclists and their bikes were at the right place at the right time was vital,” said Garador managing director Simon Hipgrave. “We were more than willing to give a hand and our modern fleet of well kitted out trucks was easily adapted so all the bikes could be transported safely.
“Best of all, over £54,000 was raised for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. A terrific effort by everyone concerned,” he said.
Bill Sivewright, Chief Executive Officer of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, said the charity was amazed by the support of the communities on the route and the numbers who turned out to support the riders.
“Also the cyclists were delighted to be re-united with their “trusty steeds” delivered so carefully by Garador,” he said. “This was by far the best Coast to Coast Challenge we have had yet and more sponsorship money is still due to come in.
