Fuel campaign needs 8,000 signatures

The FairFuel Campaign, supported by the Builders Merchants Federation needs just 8,000 more signatures before its petition can be debated in Parliament.

Fuel campaign needs 8,000 signatures

The campaign organisers have said that the Government is finally accepting that more needs to be done to increase growth in the economy. There are substantial rumours that the Government might be trying to bring forward spending on major infrastructure projects to boost growth.

However, the campaign also believes that a cut in fuel duty would go a long way towards boosting growth, reduce inflation and create jobs.
