Fourth electrical branch for Grant & Stone in four weeks

Independent Builders Merchant Group’s (IBMG) electrical division has opened its latest Grant & Stone electrical wholesaler, located on Hobley Drive, Swindon, Wiltshire.

The 4500ft site includes a wide range of high-quality products to meet the needs of domestic and commercial electricians and is conveniently situated to link to London and the surrounding areas. The Swindon branch increases the division’s geographic reach and forms part of a large expansion plan designed specifically to complete gaps in its branch network, with further branch openings planned in the coming weeks.

Branch manager, Ollie Leivers, said: “Our aim is to make Grant & Stone Swindon the best specialist electrical wholesaler that Wiltshire has seen. We want to be the first choice for customers. We have a very experienced and enthusiastic team, who are extremely customer-focused, and share a passion for providing quality materials. The Swindon branch will also focus on giving back to the community by getting involved with local causes in the near future.”

Darren House, managing director of IBMG’s electrical division, added: “Grant & Stone Swindon further enhances our presence from Enfield through to Paignton and is our fourth new electrical wholesaler in four weeks. We have a team of five experienced specialists, led by a great local manager, Ollie Leivers, who has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. As a group, we continue to remain fiercely independent in our approach, outlook and dealings with customers, which is the reason for our continued success.”

The opening of the Swindon branch increases the network of IBMG’s specialist electrical wholesale branches to 25 across the South of England.
