Hull based roofing merchant Ford Asphalte has become an NBG Partner, joining a well-established group of roofing merchants within NBG.
Other members include Dontell Roofing Supplies in West London, Alltype Roofing Supplies in South East London and Henshaws Roofing & Building Supplies in Manchester.
Ford Asphalte will now benefit from negotiated deals on roofing materials, plus access to NBG’s strong network of merchants and industry experts.
Ford Asphalte managing director Josh Barker said: “It isn’t just about securing better prices – it’s about the confidence and connections that come with being part of NBG. It’s nice to be in a group of likeminded merchants, where hopping on the WhatsApp group with a quick question or picking up the phone to a fellow Partner means we know our deals are genuinely competitive.
“It’s already opened up a whole new network for us. Being able to lean on others for technical insights or Supplier recommendations has given us a real boost in confidence as we grow and diversify our offerings.”
Operating from three depots in West Hull, East Hull and with a York branch opened last year, Ford Asphalte specialises in flat and pitched roofing materials and is growing its portfolio of solar options. Along with solar, Ford Asphalte is also expanding its range of general building supplies, a step the team felt unable to do prior to joining NBG, but with access to better deals and enhanced buying power, they now feel confident to expand the business in this area.
