The manufacturer said Ratcliff’s appointment is a key part of the company’s reshaping of its customer service operation to introduce more controlled and responsive procedures to provide technical and administrative support services.

“It’s all about being smoother, quicker and better,” said Firebird Heating Solutions’ general manager Debbie Coley. “Stewart’s appointment is a major element of growing our support services as our business picks up again after the country’s, and the industry’s, lengthy period of economic difficulties. Stewart is here with us to make a difference and he will be responsible for the activities of our growing technical support team.”

Firebird Heating Solutions has also recruited Daniel Fox as its new regional sales manager covering East Anglia and the South East.

Fox joins Firebird from HRM Boilers with over 10-years’ experience on the technical side of the industry.

“I’m looking forward to this new challenge,” said Fox. “I am impressed with Firebird’s proactive approach and their positive plans for the future. It is an exciting opportunity for me to build on the company’s strong market position in this area especially.”

In addition, Ben Parlor and Jordan Seldon have now become permanent additions to the company having completed their NVQ apprenticeships at Firebird.
