Elliotts, the South’s leading independent supplier of building products, with 13 branches across the UK, has appointed a roofing specialist at its new Christchurch branch, following its commercial success within their first five months of trading.
In response to local demand, Elliotts intends to increase its provision of roofing products. Chris Brierley, roofing expert at Elliotts Christchurch, will be responsible for researching the latest roofing products, and will also be able to advise customers on the right products for their projects.
Tom Elliott, managing director, said: “We are seeing huge demand for roofing products in Christchurch and, being an independent, flexible company, we’ve been able to respond to that quickly and give customers what they want. Since the opening of the branch we have increased our overall stock by almost £1m, and our roofing stock by more than £200,000, adding several new ranges to help people build.”
The Christchurch branch was opened in April this year by football manager, Harry Redknapp. The new branch, based on Airfield Way, is one of Elliotts’ biggest stores in the south, giving builders better access to the building materials and the advice Elliotts can provide.
