Independent builders merchant EH Smith (Builders Merchants) Ltd, has been recognised in the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2013.
It’s the company’s sixth successive RoSPA Gold Award, earning and it earns the company its second ‘Gold Medal’ award (given for five or more consecutive ‘Gold’ awards).
The RoSPA safety awards, sponsored by the National Examining Board of Occupational Safety and Health, have been in place for over 50 years now and recognise achievements and organisations on-going commitment to raising health and safety standards.
EH Smith has been awarded the Gold Medal Award in recognition of its excellent occupational health and safety management systems, rigorous approach to occupational health, and high levels of compliance with control measures for principal risks.
EH Smith HR Director, Mark Faulkner, said: “We place a very high priority on safety throughout the organisation and strive to set high standards. We are delighted to be recognised with the RoSPA Gold Achievement Award for the sixth successive year.”
