Crown Paints make overseas move

Crown Paints Limited have appointed Nigel Banks to the newly created role of commercial manager for export & licensing.

The move is part of the company’s plan to develop overseas sales for the key decorative coatings brands including Crown, Sandtex, Macpherson and Permoglaze.

Banks has worked for Crown Paints for eighteen months and was previously UK Trade Marketing Controller with responsibility for marketing decorative coatings into the specification and contractor markets. Prior to joining the company he worked for a number of different paint manufacturers including ICI Paints where he held several senior sales and marketing management roles during his eleven years with the company.
