CK hosts visit from German Ambassador

Pwllheli-based Carl Kammerling International, supplier of hand tools and security solutions hosted the visit of German Ambassador and patron of GERMAN INDUSTRY UK, HE Georg Boomgaarden.
The Ambassador’s visit was in recognition of Carl Kammerling International being the longest established German business in Wales, having relocated to Pwllheli in 1954, from Wuppertal, Germany.

The Ambassador met with CEO, Mr Arnold Kammerling who is a member of GERMAN INDUSTRY UK and managing director, Tom Meyerratken, the grandson and great-grandson of the original Carl Kammerling, before a tour of the warehouse and office of the Pwllheli site.

Dr Bernd Atenstaedt hosted a dinner to round off the day with local politicians at the Portmerion Hotel, including Lord Elis-Thomas PC AM and Councillor Dyfed Edwards, Leader of Gwynedd County Council.
