Sussex-based Independent builders merchants Chandlers Building Supplies, were celebrating earlier this month after opening a brand new branch.

The new two-acre site, at Ocivan Way in Margate, Kent opened on April 7 and, says the company, marks the first phase of a significant development program. It takes the total number of Chandlers Building Supplies to four.
As part of the program Chandlers are looking both to expand the number of branches and to develop the existing branches. Developments already this year include the opening of an electrical trade counter at the Lewes branch in March.
Chandlers are also in the process of launching an online brick selector. The service will give customers the facility to upload pictures of existing bricks that they require a match for and request samples and prices online.
Chandlers Building Supplies managing director, Andrew Cope said, “We are delighted to extend our branch network into Kent. There are significant regeneration plans for the area and we look forward to being part of these plans. We aim to provide our customers with quality building materials along with excellent customer service.”
