Triton managing director Lorna Fellowes said: “it was really great to have time to talk to the Chancellor, who came with Triton’s local MP, Marcus Jones, and then show him around our manufacturing facility. Osborne chatted to many of the employees in manufacturing and even sat on the production line and produced a component, which impressed everyone.

“After the factory tour we went to Triton’s restaurant where we spent time with 20 employees from across the business in a Q&A session, and the Chancellor heard our ideas and concerns. It was a very helpful session covering everything from what the government is doing to promote enterprise to support for working mothers.”
