Gerard Herbert and his wife, Karen, will join four other climbers this autumn on a six-day hike, walking six to nine hours a day, culminating in a gruelling 15 hour trek on summit day.

Gerard Herbert said: “Cancer Aid was very supportive when my Father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer at Christmas, so Karen and I are extremely keen to support the charity. We are hugely grateful to Carl Kammerling for the sponsorship and support.”

In addition to raising money for Cancer Aid, Gerard will also be highlighting the CEF ‘Top of the World Competition’, capturing a shot of himself with the electrical wholesalers CKI Winter Promotion brochure at the summit.
