Time is running out for the chance to book seats at this year’s BMJ Industry Awards, produced in partnership with the IOBM.
Held in the glamourous surroundings of the Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden, on Thursday September 28th, the awards lunch will see the announcement of the winners, chosen via an online vote, by the industry itself.

The ceremony will be hosted by actor, comedian, presenter and writer, Stephen Mangan. Best known for playing the role of ‘Sean Lincoln’ in the comedy series ‘Episodes’, Mangan, who has appeared in more than 50 television shows in his career that has spanned over 25 years, has a strong comedy background, having made his name as one of the medics in groundbreaking Channel 4 comedy Green Wing. He was nominated for the Tony Award after his portrayal of ‘Norman’ in the Broadway production of ‘The Norman Conquests’.
Since 2013, Mangan has been presenting the competition show ‘Artist of the Year’ which unearths talented painters and their best paintings every year. He has appeared in many popular shows like ‘Barely Legal Drivers’ (narrator), ‘Wild Brazil’ (narrator), and ‘Bliss’ (Andrew Marsden). He has also hosted ‘Have I Got News For You’. On the big screen, he has appeared in roles in films like ‘New Year’s Eve’, ‘Someone Else’, and ‘Rush’.
