Kitchens, bathrooms and heating distributor bcg has launched a new social media strategy in an attempt to provide better support to its customers.
After a successful trial period using Twitter, the company has also added Facebook into its online presence for the first time.
The company said the trial had seen a lot of positive reaction online, both from employees within the company and customers alike.
Darran Rickards, managing director at bcg, said: “Social media is a very useful platform for our customers, who find it an easy way to interact with us – and it’s a great way for us to talk to them. The new social media presence makes it easier than ever before to keep up to date with the latest news and views from bcg. Not only will all our regular promotions be on Twitter and Facebook, but we will also be running some special promotions just for our followers and fans.
