Steve Ashmore is to leave his post as managing director of Wolseley UK at the end of this month.
His replacement is Patrick Headon, currently managing director of Wolseley’s Central Europe operations. Headon has been with Wolseley for three years and has considerable operational management experience across international consumer goods and retailing.
Ashmore has been with Wolseley for 10 years, five of them as managing director of the UK business. Prior to that he was heavyside director in charge of the side of the business tht included Build Center, sold to Saint Gobain in 2011.
He is leaving to become CEO of a business in his own right.
