Aqualisa Group appoints new CEO

Hollander joins Aqualisa from Dyson Ltd and will officially commence his new role on February 3 2014.

Aqualisa’s chairman, Jonathan Halford, said: “I am absolutely delighted that David is joining Aqualisa. He brings a wealth of experience – most notably from his previous position as the Managing Director of the UK and Irish division of Dyson – where David led a hugely successful growth strategy that was underpinned by Dyson’s outstanding product innovation.

“David’s appointment is a significant step towards delivering the growth that has been targeted by our new ownership and we are very pleased that he will be at the helm during this exciting new chapter in Aqualisa’s development.”

Prior to his six year tenure at Dyson, Hollander held a number of senior sales and commercial directorships. These included roles at Total Home Entertainment and the Walt Disney Company, where he was responsible for a variety of brands that involved distribution across a diverse range of channels from independent retailers to national buying groups.

Hollander said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a unique company where innovation is as much part of its heritage as its future. The next phase of Aqualisa’s growth promises to be extremely exciting indeed and I am relishing the prospect of helping the business, its people and its investors achieve another level of success.”
