Allegion appoints new sales leader for UK and Ireland

Specialist security provider, Allegion, has appointed Simon Osborne as sales leader for the UK and Ireland in an effort to expand support for the industry and the businesses it serves.

Osborne joins from Baxi Heating UK Ltd and has experience in developing business strategy, as well as building relationships with customers and stakeholders alike.

Based in Walsall, Osborne is responsible for developing sales and partnerships with key customers to drive the business forward within the existing channels, while also identifying new ones. He will work closely with Allegion’s Inspec Demand Creation team to maximise opportunities for the growing specification division.

Phil Street, commercial director of Allegion UK and Ireland, said: “This appointment is designed to strengthen the sales structure by providing a strategic partnership approach for our talented sales team. In a market that is this dynamic, the expertise of an individual like Simon is invaluable. We’re very pleased to have him on board.”
