Z-Led issue guides to countering damp

Z-Led, the suppliers of gas and damp barrier solutions have issued a new range of literature, which offers advice and guidance on how to spot and eliminate damp problems at potential ‘weak spots’ in floors and cavity walls.

Z-Led issue guides to countering damp

Solutions to limit harmful ground gas or damp penetration are featured in ‘Ground Floor Protection, Gas & Damp Barriers’ and the main structural damp protection elements in ‘Cavity Trays, Preformed DPCs and Aluflash Flashings, as well as ‘Cavity Closers & Cavity Barriers’.

The guides combine to give easy-to-use reference/ compliance advice for appropriate Regulations, from chimney trays through acoustic damp and fire barriers to gas barrier membranes.

The increasing number of developments on brownfield sites means more potential for damp problems if the solutions are not provided early on.

Kelly Phipps, Z-Led Commercial Manager, says: “Products and Regulations are constantly evolving to accommodate changing market requirements, making it difficult for specifiers and contractors to remain fully ‘au-fait’ with the most effective way to address the issues. The new guides are designed to provide a quick and simple reference point, supported by our comprehensive technical advisory service.”
