Wolseley Group has announced the opening of its second Renewables Centre in Swansea.
The new facility will help trade professionals meet the growing demand for low-carbon installations.
The Swansea opening follows the launch of Renewables Centre’s Shrewsbury facility earlier this year, where training courses are already underway.
located next to the Swansea Plumb Centre site, the facility was opened during a discovery day, where local installers were invited to meet experts and learn more about the training courses, installation support and design guidance available.
Dan Marsden, director of renewables at Wolseley Group, said: “We’re excited to open our second Renewables Centre facility in Swansea today. Since launching earlier this year, we’ve seen overwhelming enthusiasm from installers looking to enhance their skills and capitalise on the rapidly growing renewables market.
“The Government is making significant investments into the low-carbon sector and we want to help installers play their role by providing the training, skills and confidence needed to succeed.”
The new opening is the second of several planned locations across the UK.
