Wolseley adds a multichannel director

Jeremy Maxwell has been appointed as multichannel director at Plumb and Parts Center parent Wolseley UK.
Maxwell’s career has included roles at Kingfisher where he was group strategy director; Screwfix, where he was marketing and eCommerce director and Mothercare, where he was group multichannel director on the executive board.

Steve Ashmore, managing director, Wolseley UK, said: “Multichannel is a key focus for our business and one of our strategic themes. It encompasses all of our routes to market – including our branches, websites, mobile applications, call centres and delivery proposition. Jeremy will be responsible for making sure all our channels are joined up, and that each is best in class.

“Our vision for Wolseley UK is that we will be the easiest merchant to do business with because of the seamless multichannel proposition we offer, allowing customers to do whatever they want via the channel of their choice. Jeremy will drive this vision across all of our business units.”
