Viva Las Vegas for Dulux Factpot winner

ICI Paints have announced the lucky winner of their Dulux Trade Factpot competition. And as a prize he will be jetting off to the casinos and bright lights of Las Vegas.

Martin Calam, of M Calam painting and decorating contractors, entered Dulux Trade’s two-month long promotional competition after receiving a scratch card from his local Jackson Building Centre in Lincoln. And, he won the top prize by correctly answering a ‘Fact or Fiction’ question.

The competition was run in independent merchant stores across the UK where customers purchasing 10 litres or more of selected Dulux Trade products were given scratch cards offering the chance to win a number of instant cash prizes of between £25 and £1000. Plus, the top two prizes were, an exclusive weeklong trip to Las Vegas and a weekend in Monte Carlo, both for two.

Winner, Martin Calam was understandably pleased to win the Las Vegas trip: “As most of my customers specify Dulux Trade and I’m a regular user, I received quite a few scratch cards, but I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d win!”

However, he wasn’t the only one for whom the Lincoln Jackson Building Centre proved lucky. Sixteen other customers received instant cash prizes and store has been presented with vouchers worth £1000, as part of a further incentive.

“It’s been an extremely popular competition,” said Jackson’s decorating and ironmongery supervisor Sue Neary. “Word spread as more of our customers won the instant prizes. We are thrilled that so many of our customers won and we are especially thrilled for Martin.”
