Two new for DRU

Netherlands-based manufacturer DRU Fires, have announced two new electric models for 2008.

Two new for DRU

The Metro 80e (pictured) is an electric version of the Metro, one of the best selling DRU gas fires. It is a frameless, ‘hole-in-the-wall’, contemporary fire designed to fit either a standard or false chimney breast. It is glass-fronted, operated by remote control, and has an adjustable heat output of 2kW, enough to heat an average sized living room.

All DRU electric fires feature a realistic flame picture, generated by LED technology. There are 16 different flame height settings and up to 100,000 flame pattern variations, so the fire appears to be constantly changing. In addition, there is a deep, glowing fire bed with a choice of natural twigs or white pebbles. Plus, with an electricity consumption of just 15watts (less than an average light bulb!) it’s one of the most economical electric fires available.

The Metro 80e is being featured in an advertising campaign running until March whereby all customers that buy the fire from an approved DRU dealer will receive a free MP4 Digital Player.

The second new model, Jura, is a new electric fire with a glass front and alu-metallic frame. As well as being easy to install into a standard chimney breast, it can also be mounted onto any cavity or stud wall, making it the most versatile fire in the DRU Electric Collection.

Jura also features the exclusive DRU LED flame picture, has an optional 2kW heat output, and is operated by remote control. Both fires will be available from mid January 2008.
