Two builders merchants in Gloucester were the victims of the same thief, a court in Cheltenham has heard.
Dean Regan, a 34 year old Gloucester man has admitted defrauding the BuildIt and Buildbase Gloucester branches, leaving them thousands of pounds out of pocket.
He admitted dishonestly ordering and collecting building materials from the two merchants by using a trade account held by his former employers, E.J Taylor & Sons (Gloucester) Ltd.
The case was adjourned pending further investigation into the amounts of the fraud.
