The Sleaford-headquartered group saw turnover of £45.3m for the 12 months to 31 December 2019, up from £39.2m. Pre-tax profits rose from £1.9m to £1.95m over the same period.

The company said in a statement: “During the year the group continued with its refurbishment programme at a number of its sites and continued to invest in renewing and improving its vehicle fleet.

“The full impact of the coronavirus outbreak remains unclear and at the date of this report [9 September] it is not possible to evaluate all the potential implications for the group’s trade, customers and supplies.

“The directors consider that depending on the effect of the pandemic as well as government responses to it, the group may face different economic scenarios such as a slowdown or recession which may directly affect the trade of the group.

“The directors are actively analysing possible consequences whilst directing the group’s response to mitigate these risks.”
