Travis Perkins plans erupt for new branch

Builders merchant group Travis Perkins is planning a new branch in Nottinghamshire, at the Vesuvius development in Worksop.

The planning application details the construction of an approximately 20,000 sq ft builders’ merchant, a regeneration project on a current brownfield site.

It is expected that the scheme would create 20 jobs upon completion.

Will Moss, head of acquisitions Midlands and South West for Travis Perkins, said: “This new site will provide our customers with a significantly bigger, better and more accessible branch facility, offering a superior range of building material and landscaping products.
