Builders’ merchant Travis Perkins is to get a new trading facility in North London now that planning permission has been granted.
UNITE, which develops and manages student properties will build a 563-bed development in Camden, of which Travis Perkins’ Properties division will take the ground floor.
The warehouse is expected to be around 41,731 sq ft.
Travis Perkins will get its hands on the warehouse once the development is finished.
Travis Perkins revealed yesterday that its revenue has soared more than 54% in the first six months of 2011. Pre-tax profit also grew, by 25% to £140m.
