TRADA extend show seminar program

TRADA (the Timber Research and Development Association) will repeat its previous Interbuild successes with program of seminars within the Timber Zone at the show this year.
In 2006 the sessions attracted more than 600 visitors over the five days and this year the program has been extended with a bigger seminar theatre, says TRADA marketing manager Karen Tipping.

The talks will be delivered by TRADA experts on a variety of topics, including:

‘Green Guide’ explained, Timber in older buildings, ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’ (CSH) explained, CSH and timber frame, Building with green oak, Timber Olympic stadia – the engineer’s view, The secrets of timber frame’s success and Innovation in wood.

Plus, TRADA will be offering guided tours around the Timber Zone following the success of similar tours in the off-site construction zone last year.

Interbuild 2007 will take place on 28th October – 1st November at the NEC Birmingham. A full seminar program is available on the website www.interbuild.com.
