Travis Perkins Managed Services, which operates social housing, has announced a new charity partnership with Bowel Cancer UK.
The decision came following the death of Dan Trasler, customer operations manager, from the disease.
The partnership will see colleagues raise funds and awareness for the support, care and research that Bowel Cancer UK carries out. The funds will be used to support essential services, raise national awareness and contribute to campaigns to help early diagnosis and save lives.
Ben Todd, managing director at TP Managed Services said: “Our choice of charity partner is a deeply personal one and was inspired by Dan, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting tribute than by working together with Bowel Cancer UK to raise awareness of the outstanding work they do for those affected by one of the most common cancers in the UK.
