Toolstation supports RNLI flood team

Tool supply company Toolstation has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution to support the charity’s Flood Rescue Team.

Toolstation supports RNLI flood team

The RNLI Flood Rescue Team (FRT) is made up of volunteer lifeboat crew members and operational RNLI staff who are specially trained to provide emergency search and rescue services in the event of inland flooding.

The team played a key role during last winter’s Cumbria floods where they helped rescue more than 200 people.

Like all the services provided by the RNLI, the FRT is funded entirely by voluntary donations together with sponsorship from companies such as Toolstation.
