Eight colleagues from Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins plc, undertook a hike across the Dorset coastline to raise funds for its charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support.
The hike, tackling 26 miles over the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, has so far raised £5,025 for the cancer support charity against a target of £5,000.
Toolstation’s senior retail marketing & events manager Scott Beighton, who took part in the hike says: “This was a great personal challenge for us all and trekking through the Jurassic Coast has meant we’ve been able to raise more money for such an important cause. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and is helping us achieve this target.”
2025 marks the fifth year of support for Macmillan by Toolstation, who has raised a total of £3 million for the charity.
Donations can still be made on Toolstation’s JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/team/trekkers25
