Timber factory fire closes road

A fire ripped through a timber roof truss factory in Scotland, closing a busy road for hours.

More than 30 firefighters were called to the Stevenson and Kelly factory in Aberdeenshire factory when the fire started on Thursday evening.

Flames and thick smoke carrying asbestos particles billowed from the plant and the police were forced to close the A90 Aberdeen to Fraserburgh road in both directions.
