Weatherproofing brand Thompson’s have re-packaged and extended their range of high performance roof seals.
New to market are two roof seals which, say the company, deliver the ultimate weatherproofing solutions to the professional end user.
For complete roofs or large areas of remedial sealing, Thompson’s 10 Year Roof Seal is an advanced elastomeric formulation, which flexes with the natural movements of the roof.
The 10-year formulation will not crack or split with extremes of temperatures, outperforming bitumen coatings. The two-coat treatment fully protects asphalt, slate, tile, felt, brick, concrete, asbestos, metal and wood roofs. It can even be used on top of old coatings and does not require a primer.
For smaller areas of roof damage there is Thompson’s 10 Year Patch Repair. This has all the resilience of an elastomeric roof seal but the advanced formula has added fibres and acrylic polymer to form a tough flexible repair that fills and bridges gaps and cracks.
Both new lines and the existing Thompson’s One Coat Roof Seal and Thompson’s Roof and Gutter Sealant feature a new livery. The new design delivers greater standout on shelf and explains the technology behind the high performance formulas plus instructions about how to prepare the roof and use the products.
The range will be fully supported with in-store POS and merchandising.
