The Heating Installer of the Year Awards 2016 has announced its regional winners, the eight finalists will now be put forward into the national heat which will be decided by public vote.

The awards were set up to discover the industry’s champions across different regions of the UK by asking tradespeople to submit exceptional pieces of work completed in the last 12 months. All regional winners will now be put forward to compete for the title of UK Heating Installer of the Year which will be announced at Installer2016 in May after a public online vote.
The judging panel for the Regionals consisted of Chris Ingram, managing director of headline sponsor Continental Underfloor; Mark McGettigan, editor of Installer Magazine; Hamish Mead marketing and communications director of Adey; Nancy Josson, commercial director of domestic heating & renewable of Daikin; Ian Kenny, marketing director of Graham Plumbers’ Merchant and Steve Keeton, technologies director of Vaillant Group UK.
Regional winners were:
North – Dennis Hollingworth, Hollingworth Heating
East of England – Mark Partridge, Bright Green Renewables
Midlands – Daniel Sabin, Dan Sabin Heating and Plumbing
South East – Ian Dickinson, Dickinson’s Heating Engineers
South West – Matt Bird, Devon Heating Services
Wales – Garry Lloyd, Blue Flame Gas Solutions
Scotland – Douglas Hill, Heatsource Plumbing and Heating Ltd
Northern Ireland – Connaire McGreevy, CTS Projects Ltd
Voting for the national heat can be done at www.hi-awards-2016.org.uk , the deadline for votes is 5pm April 30.
