TeknosPro has added an alkyd-oil-based, semi-gloss, opaque wood stain to its growing range of wood paints and finishes.

Woodex Solid is ideal for cladding, fascias, soffits and fences, to protect wood against soiling and weather stain. The new coating, which forms a thinner film than paint, gives an even finish, and does not cover the surface pattern of the wood.
Designed for application with a brush, roller, or spray, it has a coverage rate of between 8 and 12m2/litre on planed timber and 5 – 8m2/litre on sawn timber. It is supplied in 0.9 litre and 2.7 litre tins.
Woodex Solid can be used on new and press-impregnated wood, and is suitable for renewed treatment of old, faded wood stain surfaces. It boasts a low-odour, low-VOC formulation, and its maximum VOC level is 130g/litre. Under normal conditions, Woodex Solid can be over-coated in 12 hours.
Woodex Solid is part of a new range of paints and coatings launched under the new TeknosPro brand, and is designed for use by professional tradesmen. The range includes paints, stains, and varnishes for internal walls and ceilings as well as metal and wood surfaces.
