Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Talasey has appointed Lisa Young to the newly created role of managing director.
Young brings more than ten years’ experience in the merchant industry, having previously had a five-year spell as commercial director at Jewson, and, most recently, serving as European group category director at Stark Group.
Young said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to become Managing Director and am excited by the vision and the scale of ambition that the business has to continue its growth”
Young will oversee the day-to-day operations for the business – which has a 100-strong team and last year celebrated its 20th anniversary – and will work closely with Talasey founder and CEO Mark Wall to shape and deliver the strategy for the business moving forward.
