Radiator manufacturer Stelrad has supported a Midlands-based charity in its efforts to part-fund new apprentices in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Stelrad Radiators’ customer Holdcroft Heating in Burslem is a Platinum Partner of the Realise Foundation, a charity that focuses on the regeneration of North Staffordshire by helping people and projects that really matter to the community. Part of the way they do this by offering grants to get people into apprenticeship schemes and training programmes.
A week of fundraising for Realise Foundation last month raised nearly £11,000, enough to help 11 young people into work.
Holdcroft Heating, ran a charity Tombola that lasted all week at MOTO services Stafford North on the M6, amongst a host of fundraising events that took place in the area during the fundraising week.
Stelrad’s managing director Mike Conlon says the company was proud to get involved: “This is an excellent local charity that seeks to make a real difference to the people in the area. I have been moved by the work the charity does and by the enthusiasm the team at Holdcroft Heating has shown in its support for Realise Foundation. We are delighted as a business to get involved and support the charity in its efforts. We are one hundred per cent behind the apprenticeship scheme in the UK.”
