Southern Brick in administration

Southern Brick, the brick factors and builders merchants, have gone into administration.

There are four branches, Abingdon, Poole, Southampton and Slough and the vast majority of the company’s business is in bricks, with the rest associated brick products.

The bulk of their business has been with volume housebuilders, and the company are members of the Western Builders Merchants buying group, which merged with H&B group in May.

The administrators and directors have been unavailable for comment so far, but buildersmerchantsjournal.net will publish further details as soon as they are available.
