Silverline Tools are celebrating after winning the British Hardware Federation (BHF) Direct Diamond Award for Best Newcomer back in March.
The tool supplier beat other new BHF suppliers, Hahn Trading and WMF UK, to take the top spot at the awards ceremony at the Heart of England Conference Centre on March 11.
The company was chosen after being assessed on turnover since launch, initial commitment including offer and advertising and how easy the company is to deal with. Celebrity gardener David Domoney presented the award.
Silverline managing director James Goddard-Watts said of the win: “I am delighted our strong performance in a highly competitive marketplace has been recognised by key industry players. Our philosophy is to offer customers the right tool for the right price by passing on savings made by running an efficient and effective operation.
