Sika Opti-Mix Concentrated Colour Admixtures are now available in powerful one litre liquid dyes that achieve a rich, more consistent colour in sand cement mortars.
Proving good things do come in small packages, just one litre of the new concentrate is the equivalent of 5kg of a traditional powder based admixture and achieves a stronger, more regular colour than the powder version, say the company.
To dispense, simply shake then squeeze the bottle to fill the measuring cup and pour into mortars. The simple dosing of 25ml per 10kg of mortar uses a non-return neck to ensure only one dose is used per mix. And, because it is in liquid form, it mixes evenly and consistently with the mortar.
Sika Opti-Mix Concentrated Colour Admixture is part of the Sika Opti-Mix Concentrate Admixture range, which comprises Concentrated Rendermix, Frostproofer & Accelerator, Water Repellent, Cement Colour, Mortar Plasticiser and Integral Waterproofer both available in 250ml.
The range offers tradesmen the advantage that they can take smaller containers to jobs, help to save valuable space in the back of the van, are easier to transport and save on packaging.
The launch is supported by instore POS and product literature. Plus, merchants can take advantage of a new promotional counter box, containing 8 x 250ml bottles of the Opti-Mix Concentrate Plasticiser to encourage customers to trial the range.
