Selco take building materials back to school

A playgroup will be able to turn up the heat this winter after Birmingham builders’ merchant Selco donated £2,000 worth of materials for a new heating system.
Selco Builders Warehouse have made the donation to Sellywick Playgroup in Selly Oak as part of their newly-launched Endeavour Awards fund which support young people and worthy causes in the community.

Simon Hamer, deputy branch manager at Selco, in Stirchley, said: “Sellywick Playgroup is a charity which provides a great service to local families and we’re delighted to be able to help them by making this award.

“As a supplier to local tradesmen our products are in homes and businesses around the region. Launching the Endeavour Awards is our way of making a contribution back into the communities in which we trade.”
