Rudridge achieves FORS GOLD status

Groundwork and civil engineering merchant, Rudridge, has been awarded FORS GOLD status by the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme – the highest grade achievable for fleet operators.
The merchant owned by Travis Perkins plc, which operates four vehicles from their branches in Horsham, Gravesend, Farnham and Brentford, had to meet a series of strict criteria in order to demonstrate they were working lawfully across a range of areas including management, vehicles, drivers and operations.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, economical operations and vehicle emissions and contributes to improving sustainability and corporate social responsibility practices in the sector.

Alan Betteridge, Rudridge director, said: “We are absolutely delighted by the announcement.

“We have worked extremely hard to ensure that our vehicles adhere to FORS’ high quality standards for gold status.

“It is testament to our excellent team that we continue to deliver in every aspect to provide an efficient, economical and safe service for our clients.”
