Robert Price opens 18th branch

Independent Welsh builders merchant Robert Price has opened its 18th branch, in South Wales and marked the official opening by holding a ‘Building Bonanza’ exhibition.

The exhibition at the new branch in Barry, South Glamorgan, provided visitors with the opportunity to explore the new outlet, discuss their upcoming projects directly with manufacturers and learn about the latest products and industry developments.

Branch Manager, Ben Pike, said: “The evening proved to be a great success, attracting hundreds of visitors from across South Wales.

“Those who attended were able to meet with over seventy manufacturers, get their hands on the latest products, learn what Robert Price has to offer, and enjoy a sociable evening.”

There were a number of raffles and competitions on the night, including the Paslode ‘Nail Screw Challenge’, which saw the winner walk away with a brand new Paslode IM360Ci.

Malcolm Jones, sales director for Robert Price, said: “Feedback from both customers and suppliers after the event has shown that the Bonanza was very well received, helping to generate a number of new leads, and raise awareness of the depth of product available from Robert Price.”
